Spelling List
This week you will not see the normal half sheet of Spelling words like normal. We are trying something different. Your student will still be bringing home a page of words we are working on this week it will just look different than normal. There is still no spelling test.
What are we learning in class
Math: This week we learning strategies for adding numbers withing 1000. We will also learn the traditional "stack and add" method this week. We will assess addition withing 1000 on Friday.
Social Studies: We are learning about inventors and pioneers.
Reading: We are identifying the Author's Purpose using "PIE."
Writing: This week we are writing persuasive writing.
Word Work: We are working with "s-blends."

Reminders
- Please call the office by 3:00 if you have a change in how your student is going home.
- Students are not to bring technology to school this includes tablets, phones, and smart watches. If they have them in their backpack they cannot get them out during the school day.
